The organisations differ in destinations, price range, age group etc. We have gathered basic information about each organisation which is displayed down below. STS-Education

ASSE -International Student Exchange Program
About: Founded in 1938, ASSE's roots trace back to a Swedish-German exchange program initiated by the Ministry of Education. Post-World War II, the program expanded to include the UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.S., leading to the establishment of ASSE in 1976 by the Swedish Government. Subsequently, Denmark, Norway, and Finland joined the initiative. Currently collaborating with Canadian provincial ministries of education, ASSE operates in 31 countries with 38 offices, facilitating annual exchanges for over 30,000 high school students and host families worldwide.
